Ha ha, what fun we had at Kevin Green’s Mon£y Train seminar…for £149.00 it was well worth it. Very informative for ‘newbies’ and ‘experienced’ investors alike. A really good ballanced day. Quite intensive with no breaks (just an hour for lunch), but that’s how we like it. Unlike most seminars, this one was not ‘padded out’ with coffee breaks.
Information was offered on a variety of ‘money making’ avenues including Forex, Gold, and of course Property Investment. This seminar was near on perfect exept for one thing…it would have been really handy to take away pre done notes with key points, or copies of the presentation, or even have them emailed after the event. I would have been prepared to pay extra for this to be done.
We stayed at The Hilton in Swindon next to the venue..The National Self Build and Renovation Centre, the hotel was £51 (no breakfast, but Beefeater over the road), for a generous double room and was one of the best hotels we have stayed at all year. Make time to attend this seminar, see dates on Kev’s Facebook page…
Ed decided to drag me out to Dunston Hall to visit the auctions. It was ok, quite busy infact, about 300 people, and a great opportunity to network. We met a solicitor friend of ours for a bit of lunch and coffee. Property prices seem to be holding up and only a few didn't reach reserve. Seem to be a few builders about looking for renovation projects. Obviously us being us, we couldn't help but get up to mischief afterwards! Heidi x
Well, another great evening down in London at the Property Investors Xmas Party, held at The Imperial Hotel Russell Square. It was great to see all our old friends again and admire the dancing talents of a few! There was much hilarity on our table as the wine flowed, but I didn't get too out of hand, (for me). Did a bit of Dirty Dancing myself with a guy called Richard who was apparently 'lead' dancer on the stage show! (see photos on my Face book profile)…
The journey though, had it's delays because of the snow, so we did our fair share of coffee drinking in Liverpool Street station, waiting for trains, as ours had been cancelled, and at the other end, my car got stuck down the country road to Ed's house. We found someone to help push the car back and got going again though. All in all, despite all the aggravation of trying to travel in this Siberian weather, it was worth it!
