Tuesday – and I didnt want to be in the office, so I scived off and drove to my favorite beach on the Norfolk coast. The whole beach was empty and the only company was my friends, the seals, which is why I spent most of the time speaking to myself….
OMG! Big fun at Newmarket Races with our property mates, Ashley and Martin Culverhouse and Sue Maxwell-Smith. Ashley had a big win, ED had a medium win and Sue and I won nothing at all…Peter Andre was the guest band, and Martin couldnt handle it, he was suffering when we all went to have a look at Andre’s performance. Luckily the weather was mainly dry but we did get chilly at the end of the evening. Fun had by all…
Today, I decided to scive out of the Office and meet up with my old school friend. I had a brilliant day out with my mate Carol (Skippy) on a canoe on the River near Dilham in Norfolk. We then went and met more old school friends at The Butchers Arms in the evening. Sometimes we can get so tied up with work that we forget to go and enjoy ourselves. It is so important to get the ballance right.
I had a brilliant time at Henham Park, the home of Latitude Festival. Weather was…well British! but we still had a blast. This years line up included : Paolo Nutini, The Vaccines, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, Echo And The Bunnymen, Seasick Steve, They Might Be Giants, Bombay Bicycle Club and tons more. Who’s coming with me next year then?
